Leon II

This is my last post for a few days! I´m headed to Bilbao first thing tomorrow, so the next photos you will get to see will likely be of the outside of the Guggenheim!! Here are just some of the photos I took in Leon that I didn´t get around to posting before. The pictures make the city look pretty cool and nothing like the cess pool that it truly is. I wouldn´t go back, but there are a few things worth seenig...

I forget which river this is. But it runs between the city. The bus station is on the ghetto side, and then the older, historical part is on the other. This was taken on my way to the interesting side.

There´s a lion. Leon loves the lion statues.

Pretty park. Very misleading...

This is the bench outside of the amazing cathedral where we ate lunch.

One of my favorite things about these old original cathedrals is the intricate stone designs on their exterior. I wish I could take photos inside but unfortunately, they are never allowed. We did get to catch Mass on Sunday morning inside this cathedral... way cool.

My homie Nicole.

A wall. Don´t ask why I took a photo, I thought it looked cool.

Leon was filled with dirty-lookin´ backpackers all over the place. It isn´t even such a fascinating hub, and they weren´t anwhere near the bus station.

Half of this thing is a hotel!

I love the statue designs on the top.

Back in the city, booooo.

This is a comic from a building wall. I took a picture so I could read it later.

Spain loves fountains.

Giant man.

Different lion than you saw before.

These pigeons are so cool! They´re a pretty red-brown color instead of gross grey pigeons.

This is a fabulous ship-themed play area at a kid´s park. I only took photos so I could create my own play park when I get back to the United States. Ahem.

  1. These photos are all awesome, and I'm sad I'm not there too.
